Affiliate FAQ Q- Do I have to have a hosting account with Glitter Host before I can earn money as an Affiliate? A- No, Glitter Host's Affiliate program is open to anyone. You do have to sign up for a Client Account so you are able to access the Client Area. The Client Area is where you control your Affiliate account from.
Q- I don't like any of the available affiliate link buttons/banners, can I have a more extensive choice? A- You can request modification of a button so that it better matches your site. Email sales with your requests.
Q- How do I activate my affiliate status from within my Client Area? A- After you log into your Client Area click the "Support" link at the top of the page. From there click "Affiliates", this should take you to the url:"http://www.glitterhost.com/whmcs/affiliates.php". On this page click the button labeled "Activate Affiliate Account". You should now be activated and see your unique Affiliate link and a selection of buttons and banners.
Q- How do I get the Affiliate buttons on my site to refer new customers? A- Below each button and banner there is HTML code, copy this code and place it in your web page's html where you want the button/banner to appear.
Q- How does Glitter Host know that a new customer came from my site? A- The link code contained in your site's button/banner has your unique Affiliate ID and is recorded in the referred customer's browser's cookies.
Q- What if a customer originally came from my site but waits a couple of days to sign up, do I still get credit? A- Yes, as long as the customer still has the cookie from his original visit when he came from your site.
Q- I don't see the discount coupons for my referrals. A- Just email sales and request the coupons your interested in and suggest the code you would like to activate the coupon (such as "mysite 10% off" or whatever you like).
Q- How long do I have to wait before I can withdraw my money? A- There is a 60 day waiting period between the date the customer pays for their account and the date your funds are eligible for withdrawal. This period is necessary to ensure that the customer stays past the 30 day Money Back Guarantee period and to allow enough time to be certain that there are no charge backs.
Q- How do I withdraw my money? A- In your Client Area on the Affiliate page if you have any funds in your account there will be a button labeled "Request Withdrawal". Click this button and a ticket will be created automatically requesting a withdrawal.
Q- Where can I request the method of payment I prefer when receiving my earnings? A- When you "Request a Withdrawal" from within your client area include your preferred method of payment. Your choices are: PayPal (Recommended), or a US Postal Service Money order (if the requested amount is less than $100 a $5 surcharge will be deducted, otherwise Glitter Host will pickup the cost of the money order and postage).
